The Return of the King
Please ignore the lord of the rings pun in the title. I can't say I'm a BIG fan because I haven't actually read the books, but I did enjoy the movie. All I can say is that I am glad to be back in Canada. China is good for a visit, but for me, it is no place to live.
Overall, I had a good time on my trip. Although the hours were very long and the conditions were not really up to par, I did see a lot of new places and made many new friends. If any of you get a chance to visit Japan, I HIGHLY recommend it. I mean, I have been to many parts of the world, but Japan is by far my favourite. Second favourite would have to be Austria. So, on this trip I was able to visit Japan, HK and Changsha. I did work quite a bit though and didn't have much free time, but I guess all and all that made the time go by quicker. I would give this coop a rating of 8.5/10
Here are my previous Co-op Jobs:
Honeywell - 7/10
HRSDC - 7.5/10
Thus, this term is my favourite overall.
I have had a BUSY last few days, catching up on errands and other fun activities. It was nice to just get out there and relax for a few days before the big storm comes. By storm, I mean the Spring 2008 term. I am not looking forward to these 4 months. I am taking 6 courses and also will be taking on 2 part-time jobs. I think I will become a rarer site on campus than Chris Tucker and big budget Hollywood movies. Ignore that joke, it was terrible.
There are a few thing I want to get done in the summer besides school and work. I want to get better at guitar. I mean, right now I am having a GREAT time playing it, but I know the experience is not nearly as pleasant for the audience. I decided to enroll with a tutor. Maybe I'll find a tutor that doesn't charge too much money. Haha, I just realized that Chinese people are cheap. Question, what do Chinese people and Jewish people have in common?

Today's Dress Code - Cargo Shorts and T-Shirt
Today is the first day of work, well first half-day. It was nice. I like. Fun....Ok, to be more serious, it wasn't that bad, although I didn't have anything to do, so I just read. Funny thing in China, there is a 2 hour break in between lunch. So during that time my kind neighbours were sleeping, playing cards and watching a horror movie, respectively. I read :P
They offered me a spot on the company basketball team and I accepted. The headline reads "Company signs star player for a cheap price of 0 dollars". I am actually kind of scared for my first game...ah, who am I kidding, I'm going to own everyone. Yup, yellow mamba has landed, ladies and gents.
The bad news is that my iPod broke. Once again, Apple has failed me. I am now done with companies that have technocolor fruits as their logo. Go Microsft/Evil Empire/Yankees/Lakes/Hilary Clinton!!!
There is a KFC near my place!!! Although I'm not a fan of fast food, I do like that fact that it is not laced with ecoli, mad cow disease or aids...It came out to be pretty cheap, only like 3 bucks for a combo, of course it was a pint-sized meal with a burger I ate in two bites.
I recently discovered that I was large, but not large like my good friend Relance, but large like tall and big-footed. the biggest size of shoes they have here is a size "43" and I am a size "47"....dammit. But you know what they say about big feet--->big socks.
I am out like my good physique
